High Load DAF Air Flotation Machine Working Principle
The upgraded version of the standard air flotation machine, the high load DAF system offers higher operational stability and reliability for industrial wastewater treatment. Air is dissolved into the wastewater under pressure and released as fine micro-bubbles that carry suspended solids, oil and grease to the surface for automatic skimming. Sedimentation occurs during the flotation process, which is particularly serious in the wastewater pre-treatment section, and a large amount of sediment affects the quality of the effluent and the stability of the operation. This DAF air flotation machine can effectively eliminate sediment to ensure stable operation even under high influent loading.

Textile wastewater treatment case of Nopont Nonwovens. Industry: Textile Wastewater. Capacity: 120 m3/h. Product: Shallow air flotation SAF. The wastewater is characterized by high COD and BOD content, deep and variable chromaticity, textile fiber impurities, sand-like substances, grease and inorganic salts, and unstable pH. The high load DAF machine removes suspended solids and directly settleable impurities, regulates water quality and quantity, and features short hydraulic retention time and small base load, just right for treating large amounts of industrial wastewater.
