It disperses air through fine pores, generating a large number of microbubbles to enhance oxygen transfer efficiency and effectively increase dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in water. This type of diffuser is commonly applied in aeration tanks, oxidation ditches, and aerobic treatment systems in wastewater treatment plants.

Working Principle of Fine Bubble Disc Diffusers

The fine bubble disc diffuser operates by forcing compressed air through a microporous diffusion disc, creating a dense cloud of fine bubbles. As these bubbles rise through the water, they facilitate gas-liquid contact, allowing oxygen to dissolve into the wastewater and increasing its DO concentration.
