Industrial MBBR System for High-Load Wastewater Treatment

Our Industrial MBBR System (Model BM-IM300) is a complete moving bed biofilm reactor package engineered for high-strength organic wastewater treatment in demanding industrial applications. The system integrates the reactor vessel, HDPE biofilm carriers, fine-bubble aeration grid, and stainless steel wedge wire retention screens into one fully designed solution. Processing 50-300 m³/d with BOD removal rates exceeding 90%, it is the preferred choice for food processors, chemical plants, and pharmaceutical manufacturers across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.

  • High Organic Load Capacity: Designed for influent BOD up to 5000 mg/L and COD up to 10000 mg/L, achieving > 90% BOD removal and > 85% ammonia removal in a compact reactor footprint.
  • Complete System Integration: Includes reactor tank sections with multi-layer epoxy coating, pre-installed fine-bubble diffuser grid, biofilm carrier media, and SS304 wedge wire retention screens. All hydraulics pre-calculated.
  • Process Flexibility: Configurable as single-stage BOD removal, two-stage BOD + nitrification, or pre-denitrification + nitrification by adjusting reactor staging and media fill ratios. Suitable for both new construction and plant upgrades.
  • Low Sludge Production: Attached-growth biofilm process generates 40-60% less waste sludge compared to conventional activated sludge, reducing downstream dewatering and disposal costs significantly.
