For over a decade, the inclined tube/inclined plate filler has been the most widely used and mature water treatment device in water supply and drainage engineering. It is primarily used for sedimentation and sand removal devices.
This versatile filler is known for its high treatment efficiency, wide applicability, and small footprint. It is suitable for various applications, including water inlet sand removal, general industrial and water supply sedimentation, sewage sedimentation, oil separation, and tailings concentration treatment. It can achieve good results and is suitable for new construction projects as well as the renovation of existing old pools. The material used in its construction is ethylene-propylene copolymer.
There are three types of environmentally friendly inclined plate fillers: polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and fiberglass (FRP).
There are two forms of assembly: inclined tube and straight tube. The honeycomb inclined pipe fillers are primarily used for various sedimentation and sand removal functions. Over the past decade, they have gained wide usage in water supply and drainage engineering, becoming a popular water treatment device. These fillers offer several advantages, including wide applicability, high processing efficiency, and a small footprint. They are suitable for sand removal at the water inlet, sedimentation of general industrial and domestic water supply, sewage sedimentation, oil separation, tail tension concentration, and more. Additionally, they are well-suited for both new construction projects and the renovation of existing old pools, delivering good economic benefits.
1. Large wet circumference and small hydraulic radius.
2. The laminar flow state is good, and particle sedimentation is not disturbed by floc flow.
3. When the length of the inclined pipe is 1 meter, the effective load is designed at 3-5 tons/m2 · h. V0 is controlled within the range of 2.5-3.0 millimeters per second, resulting in excellent effluent quality.
4. Honeycomb inclined pipes are used at the water intake, with a length of 2.0-3.0 meters, which can safely operate and handle high turbidity with a sediment content of 50-100 kg/m³.
5. Adopting an inclined tube sedimentation tank, its processing capacity is 3-5 times that of a horizontal flow sedimentation tank, and 2-3 times that of an accelerated sedimentation tank and a pulse sedimentation tank.
