The energy consumption of the aerator is mainly related to two factors: oxygen utilization rate and air positive force. However, for different types of aerators, the ratio of oxygen utilization rate of clean water is not equal to the ratio of energy consumption of sewage. From clean water to sewage, the degree of change of oxygen utilization rate (i.e., α coefficient) is not the same for various aerators. The swirl and jet change less, while the micropores are larger. Aeration refers to the process of forcibly transferring oxygen from the air to the liquid, with the purpose of obtaining sufficient dissolved oxygen.
